Faux Fudge

Today, I made fudge for the first time. I’ve always wanted to learn how to make it and I found an easy recipe online. This took me about 20 minutes to make and then 2 hours for it to be ready.

You’ll need:

  • 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 12 oz Bag Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip
  • 1 6 oz Bag Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla

Instructions:

In a saucepan, add condensed milk, chips, and butter. Cook on medium low heat, stirring quite often to prevent burning. After it melts, remove from heat, add vanilla, and stir. Cover a 10×10 pan in foil and grease with butter. Spread mixture on pan, smooth it out, and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. When ready, remove the foil and cut the fudge in small pieces.

*This ended up being more like frozen chocolate instead of fudge. Still have to perfect my fudge making skills, but it was yummy and easy to make. Original recipe found on Pinterest.
